  • Seven students of the department cleared ICAR NET in the Year 2018
  • Staphylococcus hyicus and Staphylococcus pseudointermedius were isolated from dog suffering from skin diseases.
  • Thirty two students completed and 8 students pursuing MVSc degree programme.
  • Six students completed and 1 student pursuing PhD degree programme.
  • Oral feeding of hydroethanolic extract of Melia azadirachta was found effective against paramphistomiasis in cattle.
  • Methanolic extract of Entada phaseoloides and ethanolic extract of Erigeron linifolius were effective against gastrointestinal nematodes of goat.
  • Spot on solution (10% imidacloprid and 2.5% moxidectin) and ivermectin injection in combination with Amitraz wash were found effective against canine demodecosis.
  • Amongst pure-breed dogs, prevalence of canine demodecosis was recorded highest (30.43%) in German Shepherd.
  • Renal dysfunction cases were more in pure breed dogs
  • National Symposium on Veterinary Emergency Response during Disaster on 21 -11-2013 at CVSc.
  • National symposium on “Veterinary Response during Earthquake and Floods” on 25-04-2014 at CVSc.
  • LEGS training/Management of animals in emergencies for Veterinary Officers w.e.f. 6th to 7th April, 2015 at CVSc.
